The Healing & Wellness Center
At The Beauty Nest Nail Spa, safety and cleanliness has ALWAYS been my top priority. With 15 years in the industry, proper disinfection is nothing new to me. There are many hospital grade disinfectants on the market used in salons and spas. While effective, they aren’t all the same. RejuvenateTM is an accelerated hydrogen peroxide, that KILLS the Coronavirus in ONE MINUTE. And because its accelerated hydrogen peroxide, it breaks down to water and oxygen. It kills all the nasties, but doesn’t hurt the environment or us!

Peace of mind that Rejuvenate covers all my sanitation concerns from surfaces to implements! Very important during these times!

Success and Troubleshooting
Measure. Measure. Measure.
Using a measuring cup while diluting will help ensure your solution is properly mixed and effective. The diluted solution has a 90-day shelf life in a spray bottle.
More is NOT Better.
Follow the dilution ratios and you will conserve product and prevent unnecessary issues. When diluted properly, Rejuvenate™ Concentrate is a cost-effective solution for your everyday cleaning and disinfection needs.
Start Fresh.
Bottles and secondary containers should not be topped up with fresh diluted solution. Instead, ensure the containers are emptied, cleaned and dried prior to refilling with new solution to ensure it’s effective every time. Remember to also place a workplace label on any new bottles, for easy identification.

FAQs
Circulating vs. Non-circulating footbaths. What’s the difference when it comes to disinfection?
A non-circulating foot bath is one where the client’s feet come in contact with water that is NOT being pumped though internal piping. This is not to be confused with those new devices which agitate the water but keep the water isolated in the bowl.
In these instances, following surface disinfection guidelines is sufficient. You can for example, use the diluted Rejuvenate™ solution in a spray bottle and follow the standard surface protocol above.
For circulating foot baths where the water goes through an external pump (usually located inside the chair) a different protocol is required since germs often breed in the enclosed pipes. In those cases, a liquid disinfectant like Rejuvenate™ Concentrate once diluted can be run through the pipes for five minutes. Refer to the circulating footbath protocol here.
What is the difference between Rejuvenate™ Concentrate and Prevention™ HLD8?
Rejuvenate™ Concentrate is an EPA-registered surface disinfectant, which is designed for use on a wide range of surfaces (not tool immersion) throughout your facility. This might include footbaths, workstations, counters, reception areas and other large surfaces. The concentrated product is designed to be diluted at a ratio of 1:16, and should be allowed to remain wet on the surface for a contact time of five minutes.
Prevention HLD8™ is a high-level disinfectant formulated specifically for immersing tools and implements. For more information visit the product page here.
Is Rejuvenate™ Concentrate effective against the virus that causes COVID-19?
Rejuvenate™ Concentrate meet the EPA’s (List N) criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Rejuvenate™ Concentrate should be applied at a 1:16-1:64 dilution for a contact time of five minutes, in accordance with the directions for use against Poliovirus type 1 on hard, non-porous surfaces.
